Food, clothing & toilets

Please bring along a snack or a full picnic as you wish. We can also stop off at Ferry Nab where Dan's shack is located if conditions and time allows

It's a good idea to be prepared with warm clothing, waterproofs, suncream, hat, and whatever else you think might be needed to keep you warm and comfortable.

Lake Windermere is a narrow lake and totally enclosed by land so the shoreline is never far away if the weather gets too bad.

When you book we'll send you a booking form with specific clothing requirements. Please also tell us about any medical needs or special access requirements.

There is no toilet on the boat.

There are toilets available at Waterhead, Miller Ground, Ferry Nab and Fell Foot. We can stop as required.
